ATA Arms NEO Walnut Stream is an inertia-operated hunting shotgun chambered in 12x76, developed for shooters who prefer a traditional natural walnut stock while seeking a higher and more pronounced sighting plane. The distinctive raised ventilated rib supports faster target acquisition and provides a comfortable head position when mounting the shotgun.
This configuration features a 71 cm / 28" barrel, a 76 mm / 3" chamber, 4+1 capacity, five interchangeable chokes and an approximate weight of 3.1 kg. The stock and forend are manufactured from selected Turkish walnut with an oil finish, while the lightweight receiver has a black gloss finish.
The main difference between the NEO Walnut Stream and the standard NEO Walnut configuration is the raised sighting rib. It is positioned higher above the barrel and allows the shooter to maintain a more upright head position when mounting the shotgun.
This construction supports faster sight alignment, easier tracking of moving targets and improved visual awareness of the area ahead of the firearm. The ventilated profile also helps reduce visible heat distortion above the barrel during more intensive shooting.
The higher rib provides a different mounting and aiming feel compared with a conventional low-profile rib.
Helps the shooter locate the front sight and track fast-moving targets more easily.
Clearly visible front sight for improved visibility under changing light conditions.
A good balance between smooth handling, practical working length and comfort in the field.
The ATA Arms NEO inertia system uses recoil energy to cycle the action. Its primary operating components are limited to three parts: the bolt body, inertia spring and rotating bolt head.
The reduced number of moving components allows a fast operating cycle and simplifies maintenance. Unlike a gas-operated shotgun, the inertia system keeps combustion gases and most firing residue inside the barrel instead of directing them into the action.
The steel locking lugs of the rotating bolt head provide secure engagement between the bolt and barrel. The absence of a heavy under-barrel gas cylinder also contributes to the shotgun’s low weight and natural balance.
A simple and proven design with a limited number of moving parts.
Less fouling inside the action and easier maintenance after hunting.
Approximately 3.1 kg and comfortable for extended carrying in the field.
The stock and forend of the ATA Arms NEO Walnut Stream are manufactured from selected Turkish walnut with an oil finish. The natural grain gives each individual shotgun its own distinctive appearance.
The traditional hunting stock geometry provides a comfortable grip, while the shaped forend supports stable control during target tracking. The black gloss receiver and black barrel create a balanced contrast with the warm colour of the walnut furniture.
Every stock has its own individual and unique wood-grain pattern.
Highlights the structure of the walnut and preserves the traditional feel of natural wood.
Comfortable geometry of the grip, stock and forend for natural shotgun mounting.
The NEO bolt is manufactured from premium alloy steel and precision-machined using modern CNC equipment. After final machining, it receives a hard chrome finish that reduces friction and improves corrosion resistance.
The rotating bolt head locks directly into the barrel. This design provides secure steel-to-steel locking and has been tested for long-term, dependable operation.
A strong foundation for the long-term operation of the bolt system.
Precision fitting and consistent production of the primary operating components.
Reduced friction, easier cleaning and improved resistance to corrosion.
The Unique Drop Out Trigger System allows the complete trigger mechanism to be removed from the bottom of the receiver after taking out a single steel retaining pin.
This simplifies thorough cleaning and inspection of the mechanism. After maintenance, the complete module can be reinstalled quickly without complicated disassembly.
The trigger unit can be removed as a complete module for easier cleaning.
Positioned behind the trigger guard for easy and intuitive operation.
The safety button can also be configured for a left-handed shooter.
Fast access to the primary operating components after shooting.
The NEO platform uses a shim kit for adjusting stock drop and cast. This allows the stock position to be adapted according to the shooter’s build, stance and mounting technique.
Two 5 mm spacers are also provided for adjusting the length of pull. Correct fitting helps the shotgun settle naturally into the shoulder and allows the shooter to find the raised rib consistently.
Adjustment of stock drop and cast according to individual preferences.
Two 5 mm elements for modifying the length of pull.
A more natural head position in relation to the raised sighting rib.
The construction allows the use of an optional recoil-reducing system inside the stock.
The receiver is precision-machined from a high-strength aluminium alloy. This reduces the overall weight of the shotgun and improves balance during target tracking and extended carrying.
Grooves are machined into the top of the receiver for the installation of a compatible mounting base. This allows the shotgun to be equipped with a suitable optical or electronic sight when required.
Keeps the weight close to 3.1 kg and supports comfortable carrying in the field.
A traditional appearance that complements the walnut stock and forend.
Receiver grooves for the installation of a compatible mounting solution.
The included set contains five interchangeable chokes: F, IM, M, IC and SK. The different constrictions allow the shot pattern to be adapted according to distance, ammunition and type of hunting.
The selected choke must always be compatible with the ammunition being used. Before firing, make sure that the choke is installed correctly and tightened according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
This model is particularly suitable for hunters who prefer a higher sighting plane and a more upright head position when shooting. The raised rib supports fast pointing and tracking of moving targets.
The traditional walnut stock, inertia-operated action, versatile 71 cm barrel and five-choke set make the NEO Walnut Stream a practical configuration for a wide variety of hunting conditions.
The raised rib supports earlier and faster visual acquisition.
The approximate 3.1 kg weight is suitable for long periods of carrying.
Selected Turkish walnut with its own individual natural grain.
Clean inertia operation and a removable trigger mechanism.
The history of ATA Arms began with Celal Yollu, who produced his first shotgun in 1955 at only 13 years of age. Decades of experience and continuous development have established ATA Arms as an internationally recognised manufacturer of semi-automatic shotguns, over-and-under shotguns and bolt-action rifles.
The NEO series combines traditional hunting materials with modern CNC manufacturing, a simple inertia-operated action and practical adjustment and maintenance features.
